Housing Week scholarships
Housing Week scholarships are available for students who are living in public or community-managed housing, or at risk of homelessness and attending a Victorian Government school or a Victorian TAFE Institute. Students must have permanent residency in Australia.
The Department of Human Services awarded 71 Housing Week scholarships worth $1,000 in 2008. These applicants will now be better resourced to complete their Year11/12 schooling in 2009. The scholarships will be spent on any item that broadly assists educational achievement and school retention (e.g. books, computer equipment, other specialist equipment, disability aids, transport or child care).
Housing Week Scholarships 2009 for 2010 will be updated by end of February 2009.

City Learning Scholarships
The City Learning Scholarships are available to students attending the City Centre Core program. Scholarships are offered to individual students to subsidise the cost of participation in the programs. These scholarships are provided by philanthropic individuals and organisations to provide educational opportunities to those students who may not otherwise be able to attend. Students must have permanent residency in Australia. The scholarships are not guaranteed and are dependent on the number of applications drawn from the scholarship funds. Applications will be accepted by schools booked into the City Centre Core program. These applications are to be made 8 weeks before the school attends the City Centre.
