Research

Everything begins with education; it is a fundamental measure of an enlightened society. Education in Australia is at a crucial crossroads, there is a widely recognised need for new systems of learning to address disengagement and disadvantage in our schools.

2007 report: Crossing the Bridge: Overcoming entrenched disadvantage through student-centred learning

The report shows that student-centred approaches improve learning for students in our most disadvantaged communities, but that schools in these communities need new solutions to support their work.

Print copies of the report are available on request. Contact Ros Black on 03 9665 5903.
